Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Diocese of Ngong: PPI carried out a baseline survey of the programme area (Kajiado, Narok and Transmara districts) of the Catholic Diocese of Ngong and design a Monitoring ad Evaluation System. The Diocesan staff was trained on the same and a M & E Operational and Procedures Manual was produced in addition to an M&E Process Training Manual.
Human Resource Planning and Development Systems, the Association of Local Government Authorities of Kenya (ALGAK): Designed and installed human resources management systems for ALGAK. This included job codification and classification, Personnel Manual, Payroll Management System and Staff Development programme.
Project-Based-Accounting Systems for the National Cooperative Housing Union (NACHU): Designed and installed a project-based-accounting system with manual parallels in the restructuring of the NACHU Programme.
Field Support, Monitoring and Evaluation Systems for the Church Province of Kenya (CPK), now the Anglican Church of Kenya, to regulate, monitor and track vet services and supplies, family health especially immunization services, medical supplies and administration at mission health centres, management of education and training centres, farm input supplies, and vehicle movement and maintenance. The PPI consultants designed, installed and trained senior and middle level management on the ensuing systems, including procedures for systems updating and improvement.
Inventory Management and Control Systems, Christian Intermediate Technology Centre, Kapsabet: The PPI consultants developed a manual and a computerised inventory management and control systems for the centre, its bakery and production workshops to monitor the movement of the supplies, stock levels, stock issues and shelf lives, equipment maintenance, etc.
General Service Unit Logistics and Evaluation System, PLAN International, Embu: PPI Consultants designed Foster Child Education, Health supplies and management records, Community water and relief supplies, recruitment monitoring and evaluation systems for the PLAN Embu, now Eastern Program. These systems are now being replicated and used in other regions to monitor and evaluate child recruitment and development.
Loan Tracking System, PLAN International, Embu: The assignment defined a centre operation, formulated systems for monitoring and tracking client recruitment and client profiles, loan disbursements and payments, status reports, portfolio quality management, client rating and mainstreaming.
Loan Tracking System (SUNLINK), Council for International Development (now PRIDE-Africa) in Uganda, Tanzania, Guinea and Kenya: SUNLINK is a loan tracker that defines and monitors client recruitment, loan disbursement (number and amounts of loans), repayments and status reports, portfolio management and client graduation into formal credit institutions. The system develops a profile on each loan, each client and each enterprise activity.

Repositioning for Impact: A study to support the restructuring and transformation of the Promotion of Rural Initiatives and Development Enterprises (PRIDE) Ltd a micro-finance organisation operating in Kenya. The study involved an evaluation of the country program since 1989, re-appraisal of the financial sector and its services to informal and small enterprise sector, redesign of the PRIDE products and mechanisms, definition of the rationalization process to be followed, market study, and formulation of a monitoring and evaluation system.
Completed a Cooperative Housing Finance Institution (CHFI) and Programme Activity Design for the National Cooperative Housing Union (NACHU). The CHFI will receive deposits and disburse loans to NACHU affiliates for incremental housing development and enterprise activities. It will also operate community banks (rural and urban) to serve the low-income households in the country.
Carried out a Feasibility-Viability Study for Establishment of an Enterprise Promotion Institution (EPI) to support small and medium enterprise development through provision of innovative and alternative credit facilities for Western Kenya. The study examined existing credit mechanism, the tax structure and investment culture, among others. The study was financed by USAID through K-REP to Council for International Development (CIDK).
Undertook a Return On Investment (ROI) Pricing Study for Tanzania Distribution Firms. The study examined the existing pricing policies for manufacturing firms’ capacity utilization premium, tax and levies from manufacturers and how this affects the ROI position of sectoral firms, and recommendation of a sustainable and appropriate ROI pricing formula (Ministry of Planning and Economic Affairs. Tanzania).
Unification of the Accountancy Profession in Zambia. The study, requested by the Government of the Republic of Zambia, reviewed the state of the accounting profession, the stakeholders, the pricing and levying structures and proposed ways to accelerate the development of the profession in a sustainable manner.
Feasibility/viability Study for Establishment of an Enterprise Development Foundation (EDF) to support and regulate delivery of financial and business development services to the small scale enterprises and Jua Kali sector in Kenya (ILO/UNDP/GOK-Ministry of Planning and National Development)

Studied and Designed a Financial Regulatory System for Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre establishing appropriate fees and levies, subscriptions and attendant accounting and reporting system. EASTC was established to serve all countries of Eastern and Southern Africa in enhancing planning and management capacity. (Eastern African Statistical Training Centre).
